LENSEC leadership is committed to assisting with community endeavors. We support schools and non-profit organizations with funding educational initiatives and security-minded projects. This goes hand-in-hand with LENSEC’s vision to bring relevant information with speed and intelligence, providing for better safety and security to the world.
LENSEC Community Support
The Jordan Breast Cancer Program (JBCP) is a nation-wide program led and supported by the King Hussein Cancer Foundation and Center and the Ministry of Health for the development and provision of comprehensive services for the early detection and screening of breast cancer for all women in Jordan.
JBCP was established in 2007 to coordinate breast cancer early detection efforts across Jordan, provide screening services to Jordanian women, and raise public awareness about breast cancer. At the onset of the Program, more than 70% of breast cancer cases in the country were being detected at advanced stages of the disease (stages III and IV), whereby survival rates are low and treatment costs are much higher.

LENSEC participating in the Top Golf tournament with the Identification Systems Group during their annual meeting in March of 2020. We had a great time and helped to raise money for a good cause. Hearts and Hands of Minnesota offers support and assistance to parents as they focus on the medical needs of terminally ill children and their family’s daily needs. Hearts and Hands network and funding provides assistance with their most urgent or immediate needs including rent, transportation, groceries, household and medical items. And all our services are free to those who qualify.
LENSEC sponsored the 2019 Customer Appreciation Golf Outing for our partner, Dobil Laboratories. The team at Dobil says, “We had one very successful golf outing Friday, September 20th! This event was our 19th Annual Dobil Customer Appreciation Golf Outing. This year’s had the most participation out of all of the years. – It was so much fun watching everyone have fun and laugh while playing a round of golf. Thank you to all of our employees, vendors, and customers that came and enjoyed this beautiful day. – See you next year!”

LENSEC recently sponsored the Security Softball Game, a fundraiser for Mission 500. This year’s game was the 5th annual event supported by the security industry and serves the needs of children and communities in crisis.
The softball fundraiser took place on Sunday, September 15, 2019, at Overpeck Park in Leonia, NJ. This fundraiser successfully raised $41,000 for participating charities. “We are thrilled that we achieved our financial and care pack goals again this year,” says Tom Nolan, Director of Strategic Partnerships for Mission 500. “In addition, it was exciting to see Mission 500 members working with the Habitat for Humanity organization to create home ownership opportunities for families.”

LENSEC is a proud sponsor of Mission 500 in 2019. This year volunteers gathered in advance of the Security Softball Game in New Jersey on September 14th to help with charity work, including building two homes with Habitat for Humanity Paterson and filling over 400 backpacks with school supplies for underprivileged children. The care packs are donated to children living in severe poverty in the South Bronx.
Neil Haley from LENSEC participated in this year’s volunteer efforts. Neil says, “My family enjoyed helping out and being part of this amazing charity event. For the Habitat for Humanity event, we prepared the site pour the foundation by moving gravel at one site. At the second site, we hammered nails and put up the foundation. My family helped to assemble backpacks for school kids.

LENSEC is a proud sponsor of the Security 5k/2k in 2019. The event was a huge success. Collaborative efforts raised more than $145,000. During ISC West in 2019, volunteer and donations were made to Habitat for Humanity to help provide a family with a new home, and we held a Mission 500 Care Pack drive.
